About Mullis Senior Placement
Kevin Mullis has worked with seniors in Tucson continuously since 2010. He’s worked in the home health, home care, and hospice fields. In these roles, he's developed these skills:
- Talking families through difficult decisions
- Navigating Medicare and Long Term Care Insurance
- Creating and cultivating connections in the Tucson-area health field
- A bird's-eye view of how these different aspects of health care interact with each other
- Kevin is fingerprinted with AZDPS
In addition to this work experience, he was the primary custodian for his father who suffered from Alzheimer’s. This experience has taught him to navigate such issues as:
- Family consensus
- Power of Attorney
- Selling his father’s house out of state
- Moving his father into assisted living, then an adult care home, and currently memory care
- Detangling his father’s finances
- Getting VA Aid & Attendance
- Becoming a Legal Guardian in the State of Arizona
- Getting his father on ALTCS
- Placing his father on hospice care
- Planning funeral arrangements
- Personal grieving
All this was done while juggling a full-time job and being a husband and father to two young children. Kevin’s hope and desire is to use his experience and knowledge to help minimize the frustration and time-commitment that this process demands of you. Mullis Senior Placement was named in part to honor Kevin’s father (Mr. Mullis). Kevin put his family's name on the company as a pledge to do his best, put your needs first, and work with integrity.

Rachel Mullis is Kevin's lovely wife. Rachel was a public school teacher in MUSD for 16 years. She's a Tucson native and graduated from the UofA. Rachel is fingerprinted with AZDPS. She has been by Kevin's side every step of the way. You may hear her on the phone when Kevin is busy as she has accrued much knowledge of senior living. Mullis Senior Placement is truly a local, family business.
